1. Our Privacy Commitment
Mohar is a behavior-design company. Our entire product is built on the principle that focus tools should help people reclaim their attention — not harvest it. We apply that principle to data too.
We collect the minimum data required to: process your order, operate the app, improve the product, and support you if something goes wrong. That's it.
2. What We Collect

3. What We Don't Collect
This list matters as much as the one above:
- We do not read, log, or transmit the content of your messages, emails, or notifications
- We do not track which specific apps you open or websites you visit
- We do not know what content you consumed or avoided
- We do not have access to your contacts, photos, or media
- We do not use third-party advertising trackers or retargeting pixels in the app
- The Mohar NFC tile does not store, transmit, or collect any data whatsoever — it is a passive cryptographic key only
4. How Your Data Is Used
Data we collect is used exclusively for:
- Order fulfillment: Shipping, tracking, and delivery confirmation
- Customer support: Responding to your questions and resolving issues
- Product improvement: Understanding which features are used, identifying crashes, improving OEM compatibility
- Streak and focus tracking: Showing you your own usage statistics within the app
- Transactional communications: Order confirmations, shipping updates, support replies
We do not use your data for advertising profiling, behaviour inference, third-party targeting, or any purpose unrelated to operating the Mohar product.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Ever.
Limited Sharing with Service Providers
- Logistics partners (Shiprocket, Delhivery, etc.) — name and address for delivery
- Payment processors (Razorpay/Cashfree) — payment details handled directly by them; we never see card numbers
- Email/communication platforms — to send order confirmations and support replies
- Crash analytics — anonymised crash reports to identify software bugs
Legal Requirements
We will disclose information only if legally required by a valid court order or government authority under Indian law.
6. Data Retention
- Order data: 7 years (required for Indian GST compliance)
- Account data: Until you request deletion
- Support communications: 2 years
- App analytics: 12 months in aggregated, anonymised form
7. Your Rights
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data
- Opt-out: Opt out of any non-essential communications at any time
- Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format

8. Children's Privacy
Mohar products are designed for use by individuals 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
Parents who install Mohar on a minor's device are responsible for the data associated with that use.
